Yes, that's what I'm hoping for today. No, not the ecology-green; no, not money-green; no, not jealous-green. I'm talking about healthy green palm trees.
Our tropical landscape just isn't built for 10 days of temperatures hovering in the 30's. And now we're watching more and more of our palm fronds turn brown as each new day dawns.
So I'll keep on watching and hoping for some new green fronds to emerge as spring arrives. And if the palms don't survive, I may decide to plant an edible landscape instead. Hmmmmmm.....more food for thought. Victory garden, anyone?
